do any of you theme makers ever find your self looking on google for images
trying to get ideas........
or is it just me..............
Spawn
hehe - yes creative blocks are quite common amongst us smile.gif

tenax
Not only only for images but also for loading bars and textures, , in fact that is one of the first things I look for.
mattdonut
do you find yourself looking around for ideas.
verysoon
we r constantly prowling for ideas, not only for thememaking. but for my case for idea for themes, the images is not the first. ideas can hit u anywhere, from books to my comics to games to adverts. it's hard to say.....

& yes, blockages comes often. but most of the time, it's the lazyiness to think. i've got a few ideas now at hand, just need to patience & time to c it thru. i've failed a few times, remnants of wallpaper, popup title, highlights etc that couldn't work out.

just cool off, chill out. thememaking is bout fun, not stress..... always remember this.

cheers
vinnieza
i do spen ages on google trying to find a decent pic sad.gif

I have to much ideas, I already have ideas for 6 mounth of makeing themes. I made 13 P900 themes and few (3 I think) T610 themes, but I already know for 10 more ideas. They are just comming... haha.gif
Vlammetje
Lucky you! I even have a few pics still sitting in my old PC unused.... never got round to making a theme out of them coz I would have a new idea by then. Nowadays I really have to think about it much longer..... so may still use these old ones after all wink.gif
scubyd00
@ expert...i agree smile.gif themeing is a great stress reliever for me but sometimes it does get frustrating when something doesn't look quite right on the theme then i end up trashing it or even when i can't seem to find a decent jpg to use. other than that i have a great time thememaking smile.gif

@Evrae

Hi there!!How can you change the NOTIFICATION for the STATUS of the message, like the prompt for MESSAGE SENT? because in P900, it will just give you a very small notification on the upper right portion if the message has been sent. Any help would be very much appreciated. Thanx a lot! Have a nice day mate!
Carlsb3rg
@eugene elfa:
your message belongs in the sony ericsson section really, but i'll answer it here anyway. In the p900, there are two ways to get a notification. One is the one you mentioned.. which isn't very good since it's sometimes hard to spot especially if you get distracted. The other way is the delivery report. When you creat an SMS, you will see two tabs below. One with a purple MSN Messenger shape with "@" on it. In that tab, you will see an option to turn ON/OFF the Delivery report. When you turn it on and send your message, you will receive an SMS that your message has been delivered as soon as your SMS arrives on the other phone. Only negative thing about it is that you have to turn this on every time you write an SMS. Also, I don't really know if all networks support it.

@Carlsb3rg

Help very much appreciated.. Thanx a lot.. One more question, can i change the design for that like the one posted by Evrae, the picture on the bottom right corner, the one that has SENDING MESSAGE? Thanx again mate for the information. Have a nice day.
Carlsb3rg
Im afraid you cant dont anything much about it.
vinnieza

Patrick
@verysoon: ever try converting some of your t610 themes to p900 themes? i tried that, then adding some additional stuff to the p900 theme, and it works smile.gif
verysoon
hmm...... sounds good. haven't really gotta the structure of p900 themes like i do of t610. i'll mess around first.

I have been finding a lot of images on sites that give free samples of their Royalty-Free stock images.

I am not going to throw up any URLs because I don't want themes made with the same images I have already started on, but you'll be able to find a LOT of sites with free images.

When my site, http://www.p900club.us, goes live I'll be giving credit to sites I have taken images from in the 'links' section (or whatever it'll be called once I am finished with the site.)

Good luck!

PS - There are some great images on www.noahgrey.com, but I refuse to steal images from this guy. Maybe you feel differently.
Carlsb3rg
meeenttaaaaaal bloooooock!! is it? or have i finally found out that i actually suck in photoshop :/
scubyd00

ok i'll give you all an idea, scub, go on google and search abstract, that always gives you something to make your themes out of tongue.gif, then come back here, post the pic, then everyone that's stuck on a what to make can use that image then we can see what everyones different ways of theme making everyone uses thumbsup.gif
