hey up everyone.

Ive noticed since yesterday (Friday) that i've been paying for the messages instead of getting any free ones (you know, from 7p.m) - I only got the phone in October so the offers got ages to go yet.

Does anyone else happen to have the Orange Free Weekend Texts offer thing? And are you having the same problem!?

Any help would be appreciated!
Thanks, Chris.

I have another offer whereby I get 1,000 free evening texts for 6 months on Orange.

These evening texts are from 8 PM till 12 AM only.

My advice would be to call Orange directly (150) and ask them to confirm what times the free weekend texts are for.

Knowing how operators work,i suspect you have to pay for them first and then claim them back,or they get credited later?

Don't know mate. I only ordered the contract on the 19 of December 2004. Spoke to a few of the Orange operators. They said that the text message allowance is shown on the system but you wouldn't be able to find out how many you have left for free. The only way is to keep count of how many you have sent.

They also said that you wouldn't be charged for sending them in the allocated free allowance time.

I still suggest speaking to Orange... dial 150...it's even FREE!

Orange have a deal running at present and by all accounts it's for life. All you have to do is ring orange cs 450 and request the services. You can get 300 sms free with each £10 top up per month 10 mms and 1mb wap usage plus next month they are adding 10 free video clips to this deal. The free sms has been working fine for me for the past 3 weeks I still have the £10 that I topped up with and I text all the time to differant networks but, that does not include international sms your charged 20p for those.
