I've seen on some themes for the Sony Ericsson K700i where the highlight button is partially transparent on part of it.
Rough example:

I currently use Paint Shop Pro 5, although I am trying out version nine to see if I want to buy it or not. I'm wondering if anyone knows how I would be able to do this.

1. decrease/increase image opacity
2.save as .png
3.load on thm creator

And don't forget to run the optimizer when saving the image as .png!
Don't know about PSP5, but in later versions it's at the bottom of the window when you choose Save (as) or possible "hidden" under advanced options (or something like that) in the same window (the one where you enter the desired file name).
Good luck!

You're welcome!
Looking forward to your transparent themes! ;-)
Did you download the trial version of PSP9 or did you buy it already?
I'm still at PSP8 and wondering how PSP9 is...

Downloaded PSP 9, it's free for 60 days. I can't seem to make a transparent .png files. No matter what I do, it's not transparent.

Even after you've set options correctly under "Save as" > "Options" > "Run Optimizer" > "Transparency" > "Alpha channel transparency" ??
That works for me!

Appreciates all the help, kinda of got it to work. I just need to play around with it cause insted of a transparent look, it's totally clear, but I guess I'm headed in the right directions.
