I just tried mpegable X4 live and that one gives me all the settings in need. Quality is OK now.

Site updated with encoding guide optimized for K750.
Since K750 has "unlimited" space due to its memorycard support, this guide is optimised to yield highest quality videos regardles that filesizes becomes bigger.
If you want smaller filesizes than this guide yilds, then simply lower the bitrates used for video and audio until you reach a compromise between quality and filesize which suites your needs.
Happy encoding

darn, the wait, the wait...

Got my 512 mb some time ago, great

heres a test video from the new guide, one of my favourite local Danish bands - Carpark North - with their latest hitsingle

Music style may be a bit to local for the big world, but I like it

If you have followed the guide to the letter, and the files play ok on your computer, then its a performanceproblem on your phone.
Did you remember to select the mobile profile to begin with ?
If you use the standard memorycard, and/or have the first firmware R1A, then you may need to lower the bitrate for it to play fluently.
Else try and make a small encoding and upload it to rapidshare.de, then we can download it to check properties and see if it should work.

It works fine on my gf's S700...
It starts on mine just fine but after 10 sec the sounds starts falling away, image is shocking (not watchable at all)!
Now, is this because the K750 just can't perform like the way it should? should i go back to the store?
I already upgraded my firmware..

Hi Spawn. Wondering if you could guide me with a major problem I'm havin.
I encoded 5 videos. All using ur guide.
Automatic crop and resize on all of em. Now here's the problem.
Two of the videos play back perfectly fine on the phone. The other two just don't open. As if it's an unrecognisable format.
The two that open have been encoded at resolutions 128x80 & 176x96.
The one's that refuse to play have been encoded in 176x112 & 176x128.
What could the problem be? Please help!!

I tried 10 times and it actually worked once. But for some reason the "failed to open file %s error comes up".
Update:
I found out why it didn't work on the other DVD's, they had protection on it.

I tried encoding an anime episode from a DVD and I couldn't get it to work, I followed the guide to the dot and the video was too skippy and sometimes the audio just dies.
I used the 64 MB memory duo that comes with the phone and I even tried removing all my files in phone memory to see if it plays back better if it is in the phone memory but to no avail. Do I need to use memory stick duo pro just to play them?
My firmware is R1N035 and I tried to lower the video bitrate to 130 and audio to 40 kbps/22050hz but it still skips, I tried to encode it with de-interlaced enabled and disabled but it still doesn't work. Can someone enlighten me please, I'm on my wits end.

I have a small but annoying problem... I've encoded several Simpsons episodes using Spawns excellent guide, but the audio always seems to get a bit out of sync. Strange thing is, it seems to differ from episode to episode.
My source are high quality .avi (divx) files. The encoding by itself works great, and the video- and audio quality is great... however, the sync problem nearly drives me insane. Help?

Try to edit your video before encoding, in video editor you can set it Equalize to high pitch point for the high audio quality when encoding !
