P 4 2.7GHz,768MB RAM,192MB Video GeForce 4
and the Quake 4 is a laggin in a 1024X768 its ok in a small rooms but in a lagre area's frames is a 1,2 what i to do ?

maybe because of some lag-maker softwares (ex. AVG) try to close some unnecessary programs, here's the system requirements: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Quake_4
i know the sistem requirements and i installed on my pc 1gb ram and 256mb video and again laggin :S

use 512 mb geforce 9400 or ati readon 4300 graphics card and 1 gb of ram.
