I can`t participate this week because I`m using Carbide.ui Theme Edition to make my themes (S60 3rd Edition)...In Carbide you can`t make animated themes (there are options to make it but it doesn`t work).

I'm in too. Just a quick question:
Wich parts exactly are possible to animate, except wallpaper and highlights? I mean wich animations are actually gonna show on the phone? I usually make themes for Sony Ericsson C902...

Which Elements of a Theme work on the Phone when Animated! Because I tried Animating Everything and Tab Selected and Activity Menu Tab Selected and Softkeys Pressed didn't Work! So Which Ones are able To Be animated? If Anyone knows Please tell Us!

@ your_mother @ krakit..according to the topic,the wallaper should be animated and if you wish u can animate softkeys and highlights..

too sorry i can't participate
in nokia theme studio you can insert an gif or swf image but it doesn't show
the preview it's just a white screen
just tried loading some previously downloaded animated theme and checked

don't bother Naina!!!!!!!!!!! i also can't participate in this contest because of the same reason. the animation in carbide is actually a wallpaper scrolling per day/week etc.
s60 can't support animated themes unless we use an application from an other site. with the theme making machine of that site, we can create animated themes, but the quality is bad and there are advertising messages during the installation....

so ghassemoo managed to kick out his GREAT S60 contestants in this one

but we'll be around commenting and voting......

I suggest if Nokia Themes don't Support animations then Why dont All the Symbian Theme Makers Try their Hands On Sony Creators! Try it if You like! You don''t have to be Out Please!

Sorry symbian guys... I didn't know that. So now we have 2 way:
1. All symbian themer try to make a SE theme.
2. I change the topic.

If you have a better suggestion just tell me.

Naina suggested a better way:
Nokia themers can to use screensavers in their themes.

so we all stick to the topic (animated) and in Symbian only or can work in SE

for SE Skinning can you please give me the link want to try SE this time

@ bainer..according to the topic wallpaper should b animated and for nokia themers they can use animated secreensaver,coz in carbide you cnt make animated themes...

@Cute_Heart... No problem from me for using swf walls but I think if you using gif walls is better.

@Clown... For SE themes wallpaper should be animated (you can use animated picture for other elements like softkeys, Highlights too) and nokia themes should use animated secreensaver.

@ handikaap....you cnt's use other's work(elements) in TMC,try to create your's own..we are always here if u need any help regarding theming..kindly do not repeat it again..otherwise , we might have to ban you from TMC..
