I'm seeing good improvement, Ducks Unlimited is definitely too busy and the texts are hard to read. The Alien Ambush and Skyline themes are certainly much better in that aspect. Keep them coming, it's a good start to focus on usability.

Btw, try joining ThemeMaking Challenge. Don't be too intimidated by the quality you see in there. It's a perfect place to practice, improve your theming skills and collect feedback. Also good to meet new friends who share the same passion in theming. You can also start looking & comment on other themers work in this section too.
