Why Featured thread always closed ???????

if admin ssivic goes to holiday ... could u pls hand over that permission to any other admin ?????................

i don't think there is a automatically featured system for uplds in m9 gallery ..... ??if yes then how many number of dwd count or favourites or ratings required for a file become featured .....??????????????????????

i am too awaiting the featured thread to open !

It will be open as soon as Sven get some free time.
Our team is working on new gallery mod system and soon that thread wont be necessary coz moderators will check all "featured files candidates" and decide which of the files deserves to be featured.

now its open but from 7 weeks its been closed , there is no automatic featured file rules here if file having 5 rating and above 4 fav also it will not be featured

We had automatic featuring in the past. We got a lot of complaints about it thus it was removed. Featured files are subjective not objective and you cannot get a computer to do subjective tasks (now there's an idea for a dissertation). For stats based on objectiveness please sort by most downloaded or highest rating.

There is a system that alerts mods of files with high ratings and downloads, mods then use their opinion to decide whether it is actually worthy of featuring or not. Unfortunatly the moderator system is under reviewal and this is currently not active.

I too think they pick it manually and the featured file picker is busy.I am also waiting to see that thread get opened.
