Hi guys! I'm a new user and i have to say that this site is amazing! i'm italian so...sorry for my english! XD

i read somewhere,sometime,somewhat...ecc...that exists some java application that transform your mobile in a navigator,and they do it without any GPS or GPRS connection because they have just your city's map. that's my question: they really exist? where i can find them? and if they really exist...i hae ti pay for them? thanx for your attention!! There is software like google maps and certain other software that lets you download maps, but nothing that can function as a navigator to find your exact location

All the software requiresa GPS enabled phone to work, the requirmnet on the post is something that works withou GPS.
show me how any of this can pinpoint you location withou a GPS reciever?

Hmm... I guess I had my eyes closed when I read the post, but anyway... The site have some nice, free, Java, GPS-software and of course YOU NEED A GPS DEVICE of some kind!!! Build in or external. Otherwise you only get the maps or... Nothing.
