before posting i would like to say that i used screens only for s60 themes that i can test. for the rest i trust what i c and not what "looks like" in anybodies phone..... (sorry guys, i wish i had the money to have a phone for every category...)

clown92: the walls u used caused visibility problems. very hard to work with these........

injamul_ahmed i did some comments when u first posted a preview and u changed nothing, so noting changed with my comments too (viibility problems with the green text, lack of transparency in your icons, in fact in your single icon. u got potential, but u need work to do....

freeword very nice what u did with your icons, but i think using gray (like scr5) instead of blue would be more fitting

jolansky confused with the different text colors. the transparent calendar highlight with the light gray text according to the general white text is also confusing

Sam very nice Sam. original idea to make a "negative" theme, but texts (simple and highlighted) could be different..... i think it would be helpful for us to present the daily calendar in order to c texts and highlights and not just colors and lines....

cute heart the dark petrol highlighted text.... not very good idea for readability. u could use the light blue u used in your softkeys

your theme is kind out of topic dude. but since the moderator decided to leave it in the final thread, despite of the sayings i think that u got a well built theme here. u should though keep the highlighted text everywhere black....

Branislaw nice one dude. i think the choice of icon set did not fit the spirit of the theme very well (i waited more from your quality as a themer....). u could also use different textcoloring in your submenu considering the highlight u used (img 1) and your "cut/copy/paste" highlight is almost invisible (img2)


anuj highlighted text should be more tense than simple text in order to c the highlight easier when u use the theme.....

ok people these are my humble comments for the 16 of the 17 (i left myself out since once again i'm the greatest, perfect, blah blah blah )

i have to admit that it was very difficult to vote once again and i had to go to the very detail of each theme to decide......

i would just say that all themes were nice this week...

and i would also say that Sam's and Sports themes suffered just because of the color combos they used... not much eye-candy in there... still good effort...

Another one from the "Imho your best so far" category this week. Cool wallpaper and nice matching icon set; one can see that you put particular effort into creating good-looking Grid/List Highlights and Forms and I think it was really worth it - way to go! Cosmetics: Blue text for highlighted Popup items is a bit hard to read on blue Popup Highlight; other than that no usability issues.

Quite usable; nice vintage wally and harmonic colour scheme; Moncc icons look good on this; softkey could imho benefit from some small detail added, e.g. an unobtrusive texture or a nice rim of tiny pearls on its upper side or sth like that to add some more "wanna have!"-factor to your theme

Imho one of your best themes so far - good usability and very nice details - softkey, statusbar note panel and Forms are neatly done and look great. Cosmetics: Grid icons switch to default when selected - to avoid this, paste the respective icons to both "Grid" and "Animated Grid" in CarbideUI.

Very nice barwork and colour scheme - the deep wine red tone of the List Highlights looks quite cool on the phone. No usability issues (not that I expected any, I think, in the meantime, you are experienced enough to avoid them).
Cosmetics: Unselected Forms are not skinned - but then I don't know if skinning them is possible in the Lasyk Themes Creator. Would be great if it was - skinning the Unselected Forms would make your themes more complete.

I wasn't really aware of the skeleton cat on the wallpaper till I tested your theme on the phone - it totally cracked me up. Very nice wally, glad you didn't opt for a pic of an "ordinary" person reading a book. Three-colour scheme turquoise-black-yellow works good on the phone; thanks to the image manipulation you did, the texts in the submenues are better to read than in your previous themes. That's especially fine for users like me who have an S60 phone with a small 2.0 inches display - the texts on those displays are really tiny in some submenues and I really appreciate themers caring for a good background/text contrast.

Every week, I'm grateful for those of you who got STC keep going. We started not knowing how long this competition can last. But your continuous support and participation managed to get us through. Can you believe this? We have just done STC 20 and the morale is just as high!
