I'm sorry, but I just found out that this is made with an iphone application. The only thing you did was changing the name on the bottom. My husband (who doesn't know anything about image manipulation) made this out of a picture of him and his brother with one click:



The same with the second image. All you did there was cropping it!

I don't think something like that should qualify in here, since it looks like you did a fantastic job, but there's nothing behind it...

HESSAMBESSEL - Great Job. But i think the Head still seems to be Stretched. You need to Try Merging it well.

Galmed - Great One Gal. i like the way You referred the Text with the Image. Excellent thought. But Work on it more. It looks too colourfull. Maybe Highlight the image to differentiate it
importantly.

Injamul_Ahmed - Stop that Negative sides. Whats Wrong with the M9 members this TIme. Its like a GiveUp Virus spreadin in here. one person is You affected here and the other in TMC.
Please do not Back Up. And make something else. You still got Time. Mom just meant that it was kind of injustice to others. But i think until it looks Good, we should let You use the Image. Because its not kind of cheating.

Your_Mother - i am Sorry. But, its not really kind of cheating. All that matters afterall is the Result. Not the way How You do it?
i mean, we use effects that make an image change in Photoshop too. and we just use that one effect for that, we are not actually doing anything by Ourself to Tweak the image.
then, that application is also just giving the Image an Effect like that. So, i don't think it should be Dis Qualified. Just my Thought. Please Correct me if i am Wrong. And No Hard Feelings.

AXR - its not Like that. i meant that the Result matters, but there are a thousands of ways How You can Achieve it.
We use one click effects to enhance our Images in any editing Software. But that isn't cheating. i know that Kreation is
the Most important thing here. But there are Ways of doing it. Everyone's got their Own.

i like Your Wally. But, until there is Time, try finding ways to get it extremely better.

First of all, ahmed, NO, I never did ANYTHING like that!!!! Just to be clear about that! I have enough proud to do my wallies myself! Wow, that made me really angry now!! And, krakit, yes, of course we all use effects for our wallies, that we didn't really do ourselfes. But also we cut images, paste other things in it, maybe change the colour and choose a fitting background... there are thousends of other things involved. And I would never <swearword snipped> at people because it doesn't look perfect, or because they don't use as many pics as AXR for example, at least they try and that makes it unique and interesting. Ahmed made absolutly nothing except uploading the image. Even the background is already given. There are probably millions of exactly the same wallpaper just with another picture in it. So, I insist on my point that this is not a correct entry. And you should all know that I'm not very picky usually.

too much going on in here. i wasn't planning to post here, but seeing there seem to be some hostile and some depressed sentiments, i had no choice.

let one thing be very clear for everyone, WPC focuses on skill. it is not just the end product that you present to us, but also the procedure involved in making it that counts/


there was a reason that i had once made it compulsory for everyone to show me their PSDs. the reason was to avoid entries stolen straight from the internet. and to find out how much work a member had really put into his wallpaper. but since that time, you the participants voted against the rule, making it necessary to show only the originals, which serves well in most cases.

it seems, however, that image editing applications are becoming more easily available, and easier to use, making image manipulation easier than ever. and for us at WPC, it becomes difficult to judge when a person has made it through hard work, and when by a a single click.


to your_mother, good job in spotting the wallpaper
to injamul, do not point fingers at anyone without providing proof. if you say your_mother made a similar entry, show us.

and to everyone, remember that WPC is all about learning to create wallpapers. that is why we are here. that is why WPC exists. we strive to teach newbies newer methods of manipulating images. taking the easy way out serves no purpose.
it's not just the trophies you should aim for.

back to injamul, we would all like to see you participate this week. unfortunately, your current entry will not qualify. try and come up with something new. take inspiration from the other entries, if you must.


to all members, i make a proposal. every so often i will ask a completely random participant to show me his/her PSD/layered image. all participants will be obliged under WPC rules to reveal their PSDs/layered images to the two WPC managers and the M9 admins. what do you think about this? voice your opinion in the MEBMER OPINION thread

in Past week I was made my wally myself. But this week I was also want to made my wally myself. In that time I was trying to made a cool wally. But I can't made nicely. Because of the size of image & topic. That's why I was made with that.

But If u tell me nicely then I was understand easily. BUT NO
U tell me that in angrily. That's why I'm very disappointed & i'm very very Shocked. I didn't expect this kind of behave from u & especially from Boxie the wpc moderator & admin. krakit also trying to understand me so nicely. Can't I goes wrong. I can do mistake a lot. I'm newbie here. I will have to learn many things from here. I'm not expert. In Ringtone Challeng i did many mistake. But the RC moderator(Christina) & admin(panto) understand me so nicely.

I'm getting very tired of this discussion, so this is the last time I'm gonna reply to it...! First of all I didn't get angry because of your mistake (allthough if you think just a little bit it's kinda logic something like that doesn't count) I was just pointing it out to be fair to everybody. Since we all work hard to make our wallpapers I think everybody deserved to know how you made yours. I started to get angry, when you accused me of not making my wallies myself. Yes, I take that as a personal insult! But since krakit explained what you ment with that I don't take it seriously anymore.

Secondly you say you want to learn things from here. And you will. If you try. I hardly believe you learn anything by uploading an image... But let's forget about that now. Because, as I already said: "There's no further problem, if you make your wallpapers yourself in the future. I never ment for you to not join anymore..." If that is not nice enough for you I don't know what else to say!!!

And finally: What the hell came to your mind when you wrote: "I didn't expect this kind of behave... especially from Boxie..."?!?!? Boxie is doing his job as wpc moderator just fine. And a part of that is to spot wallies that don't qualify for competition. You will just have to accept that.

If i sounded rude, i apologise. That wasn't my intention. I was simply pointing out two simple facts which apply not only to you but to all the WPC participants. First is there we are here to learn and to teach. Second is that you should not accuse others of lifting works without providing proof. and the second point applies not only to WPC but to life in general.

I understand that you wanted to make a good wallpaper. And i also understand that the fact that using an iphone application to make one would disqualify your entry is not mentioned clearly in the rules. In that regard, you are not wrong to debate.

However, you have to try to understand the point that every participant here puts in hours of work on their wallpapers. If you simply upload an image somewhere, and put in zero work, and claim the image to be created by you, it does not do justice to the other entries. You cannot even claim it to be your creation.

We would like to see you enter. but we want to see you work as well. and we want to see you improve as you progress in WPC. Every participant here, even people like CrazEric and your_mother (who have, between them, won most of the trophies in recent weeks) have learned a lot from WPC, and are still improving each week. Not to mention the lessons they are always ready to provide to newcomers.

If asking you to put in more work sounded rude, i am sorry. But come up with a a wally that's even half as good by yourself, and see the amount of respect you get here.

Delta - i agree with Mom. i think You can work on the Text colour a bit to make it Darker Brown shadeed, and maybe You can Use a Little Light Brown Color to Your Images too to make it Look a Little merged Up with the Whole BackGround. Just an Opinion. i like it
