very good choise sam. the menu background is a little dark relevantly to the main wall u use. if u lighten a bit u will have problems with your text color? (but then again u can brighten the text color too...) or u can blur it a lit bit
i guess in my eyes seems like u have a white main wall and a black menu wall (a liitle extravagant my comparison, but it's almost what i mean.....)
but this is my opinion ofcourse....

Just wanted to say to you that you are a great themer,but in this case you can do much better.I like your wallpaper and icons,but you need to change softkeys and highlights,not so good.Your last theme was amazing.Sorry for this comment,but i know that you can create great themes.Waiting to see more

but i kinda feel that highlight of the icon isnot too much of a great one maybe u can find another one
but thats my own opinion

well iam not an expert in ur kind of mobile themes but i believe it would be nice if u changed the battery and signal into something else
or maybe another color but white cause its soo simple

well i have decided to have this theme as plan a and i also made plan b and c

i know white is simple, but i have to think about usability of the theme. i think white is the best contrast for this brown (specially for a shiny day). i'll try something else though.... (have u anything in mind?)

generally i like the themes that can be used in any conditions, so visibility is very important for my personal taste. that's why i get a lot of clear contrast in my themes. to achieve this, sometimes i have to use different shades of the same color (because of the restrictions of carbide, where i can't edit the text color in any case separately, so i sometimes have to use in hihglight the exact shade of a color in which both the contrasted text colors i use can be visible)

well i donot know honesty it far strange on me the options u are restricted with but maybe light yellow would be nice
and also and again iam no expert whatsoever
i saw before in other themes that the battery and signal have many shapes so if u can maybe change the shape itself
but i also believe ur opinion is right concerning white as agood contrast to brown

as expected i like the yellow one. crisp, clear, nice contrast... , but u got to take care either way your "operator" and clock text color, cause i can hardly see these items in this very beautiful wall of yours....
