Apple this year's Q3 results is out! The results:

Macintosh computer: 2.6 million (4% increase over Q3 2008)
iPod: 10.2 million (7% decline over Q3 2008)
iPhone: 5.2 million (626% increase over Q3 2008)

The iPhone sales figure include only a few weeks of the newest version, iPhone 3GS sales. So in Q3 this year, Apple sold twice as many iPhone as their Macintosh computer. ohmy.gif It's also worth noticing that sales of iPod drops. It's probably time to introduce a new iPod lineup, one that makes me happy to ditch my iPod Nano. smile.gif

It's news! bash.gif haha.gif I should probably take Vlam's advice of separating the two.

Btw, do you feel weird that despite the gadget geeks & the world being so obsessed with the iPhone, you and I haven't got one for ourselves?

No, because the iPhone doesn't appeal to me. I'm unwilling to waste money on a device which is tightly closed and the hardware is far too old tech.

My iTouch isn't tightly closed! smile.gif

I play game boy advance games on it daily!

Oh yeah, take that Mr. Jobs!

Best $300 I've spent in a long time.

What really calls out the attention is that the iPod sales are dropping... the availability of media players in mobile phones might be greatly contributing to this...
