AngelnainaAs you and Shalu started approx. at the same time with S40 themeing and as you're improving equally fast, I can't help but think of you as the "S40 sisters"

. Good usability, nice background images and detailwork. Rectangle around the digital clock a bit too big to the left, might be overlapped by some text/icons.
frenk-64Beautiful colour scheme, striking wallpaper, interesting submenue image with its scratches.
Analogue clock, icons, music player buttons, stylish navi pane go together quite well. No usability problems. Grid highlight is pixely, would be better when done in 9-piece mode.
LonghairsteffThe style of the goat illustration seems not ideal to me, as it looks too rushed and doesn't live up to your otherwise quality theme. Good idea with the carved ornament/sign on the submenu backgrounds.

I wouldn't recommend blurring the background images as it's unpleasant to the eye, looking at them always feels a bit like wearing the wrong glasses. Ochre texts are hard to read in some submenues. The tiger pattern on the popup makes it hard to read the text on it. All in all, I think this theme is not soooo felicitate in terms of usability, but for comfort: I just took a quick look in the TMC thread where you placed your new creation "Earth" and that's much better

.
ShaluI'm amazed by how quick you improve. I like the noble look of your theme and its consistency in design. Highly usable, the Grid Highlight is a gem. Very good choice of matching icons, a pity they're a bit pixely in the grid menu.

Somehow the list highlight reminds me of soft caramel candy. Yummy. On the Active Idle Screen, selected green texts are hard to read on green Row Highlight.
GaultAs I said in your thread, well-executed, clean tech design that I saw so often in SE themes and now there's finally someone carrying it to S40, too. Will for sure stay longer on my phone when out.

Hello, you promising novices

. What caught my eye when looking at your themes is that you didn't get lost in overambitioned design but instead put much effort in creating a usable theme with reasonable colour combos that make it easy for the user to navigate. And you all managed to put in meaningful, descriptive icons. Way to go.
Sourav Kumar:
Nice colour combo, I like the transparent highlights as they make the theme look lightweight. Icons look a bit bulky, a few pixels smaller would make them look more elegant. The ox on the left side of the calendar background clashes with the note text, when there are two or three notes at once; would be better on the right side.
cute_heart:
Nice idea with the middle softkey and nice icons, haven't seem them anywhere before. You forgot to put in the calendar backgrounds.
primavera77:
Softkey is a bit too simple for my taste, could be more elaborate, but then you're still practising. Grid highlight is asymmetrical as its right border is thicker than the left

Nice softkey design, good choice of descriptive icons. Submenue background images could be a bit darker for better readabilty of the texts. Red text on the list highlights is hard to read especially with the pattern on the highlight, would've been better in e.g. white.
