Hey all
I jus got a Nokia 1680c. has some good features a camera ,video capture etc. But no blue tooth or infrared which mean that a cable has to be use to transfer data to and from your computer right.
My problem is on checking there is no data cable for this phone from the manufacture. Now Y would a manufacture make a phone with these features that can't connect to the PC.
I did some searching and there is a generic cable ( serial cable ca-42) that might work. Has any one have or had this problem or heard of this cable? I if I am missing something here plz enlighten me.

Not everyone is going to buy N97 or Apple Iphone...Its an entry level phone with some good features at lowest price...Now even small farmers or below middle class people are buying phones.. They dont need 68mb RAM OR 600MHZ PROCESSOR..They need a small phone with some features..

I want to transfer lots of videos and pics from my nokia 1680c to my computer, I bought a data cable to but it lasted only for 3minutes, and then said that i need to purchase the software and i was using the trial that's what it said, I stay in Hyderabad in India and i didn't found any one using that phone because its not released here, i want something for help please share whatever u know. thanks.

a frnd of mine foundan easy way... He used gprs to upload his files in phone to some filehosting site and he downloaded to it to pc..
