I'm new to TMC, is it the same as STC?

More or less, the rules are the same, but you can also make themes for SE and other phones which support this feature...

all competitions on M9 are different, that is why they are classified as different competitions to begin with.
the STC has a lot in common with TMC though. the basic rules remain the same

the STC host is currently AW, while the TMC host is...*wink*
in STC you can only make themes for symbian phones, while in TMC you can make themes for ANY phone that supports customisable themes

That really nice start n i agree with RHTz ..Moreover the Silver gradient effect above the softkeys is not in the miiddle ..I guess u need to adjust that..

i have started with my theme and this is what i have so far.



what's good: to avoid too many butterflies in the theme, i have cloned over the area of the butterfly for the desktop, and then kept the buterfly as a highlight. while using a theme this will give the butterly a moving effect too....

what's not: not too pleased with the bevel effect on the bar-work, and still trying different things.

I want to join TMC, but I dont have a theme creator.
Can someone plz give me a link to download some easy program, preferrarbly small in size, coz my Internet is very slow.

good start..but for me it is looking bit busy and have u noticed the text (option and back) is tauching the outline of lower softkeys and time is not clear in standby screen..In downloadiNG mms message u have used blue color in progress bar and rest u have used grey.hope it helps..

looks like that green color could be an issue with some people. but my main problem would be the desktop screen. it never looks good when u have an entire person standing there and just his/her eyes are getting covered up like he's some convict

i like the highlights very much though

hey boxie. i think you should lower the height of the highlights. you made 231 X 38 highlights. since you have simple highlights the dimensions 231 X 32 will be great.

I recommend u all to copy the image link in ur address bar n then watch it in magnified view...
Also dont worry, i'll comeup with more options

text on a background image (in this case, "iROBOT") overlaid by text on the phone (the time) never looks good
