Hi guys...here`s my preview...Partizan Belgrade theme with modified Nokia Touch icons...I have changed every single icon to better fit in this black-white-red theme...red font looks much better and clear on phone...What do you think?

I started my theme....I wish to hear your opinion....I'm not sure that the yellow color of the writting is the right color.....
Can some one of you can explain me how to paint icons..I'm trying to do it with illustrator, but the result are ugly.....

i would prefer the battery and signal icons in yellow too, so the user could easily check these things when needed

Looking good. Red color usually doesn't look as good on preview. Didn't know that you can actually select two different text color (white phonebook, black camcorder) in Carbide. Can you actually add a background to the pointed arrow part so to make the icons more visible?

Agree with thabull that you might want to make the signal & battery more visible.

I agree with thabull and AW and also i think the nice looking analog clock is a litte to high tech for the theme. Can you change the colour of passive tab to maybe red or something, the green don't look to great.

No...You can not do that in Carbide ...but you can select in phone settings to turn off this icons in standby screen...so actually they did not show in this idle screen if you select this option in your phone settings

I see. Then there is not much you can do. I'm aware that you can change the setting in your phone, but most of the people I know use shortcuts in the homescreen.

Yes..me too...and it looks much better on phone then on this preview...anyway I`m glad you like it...You can change almost everything in Carbide but there is still something they can (must) improve...

on the other hand (i'm playing the devil's advocat now - it's a greek exression) i would prefer style 2 (contrast reasons. much better when somebody actually uses the theme.)

anyway, you've done good work once more (and perhaps you have a hard choice to make.....)

i'd go with the first

but i really think that black colored softkeys are problem in your theme. why don't u try something in light blue to make the contrast with your center softkey? i don't know how this will match with the total look of your theme.....

The first one for me, too, due to the much better contrast between icons and backgound.

The program doesn't support that, I mean if I choose black.. the three softkeys will be black, and if I choose blue.. the three softkeys will be blue, And unfortunately the first one doesn't contrast with the left and right softkeys, and the second one doesn't contrast with the middle softkey.
So I don't know what to do!! :surrender:Any way I'll try to use light blue and see..!!

Hi friends, I follow your suggestion...I change the clock, but I'm not convince that is the right one....
I change the battary color and it is much better....I'm still changing icon, and I change the green tab to red...
I have question, The volume sign in the theme appear grey and yellow. I install the theme on my cell, I wanted to see how it apear...( I'm quite new to carbide..and it is the first time i'm using illustartor..so....:-)))
On the cell, those volume sign appear all yellow....How it's come??????

i have created themes for s40 and i know the restrictions in the colors. when i say light blue mean light bright blue, not something smooth. just try and see, i don't know....

don't know about the volume, but the clock is much more suitable

i recently got the 3.4 and worked just fine with all the icon packs....

square or round doesn't make difference for me. this clock is great....

It's beautiful...but not easy to find the right color. May be if you change the color of the pop up window ( i think this is the name of it ....-)
Making it a bit darker.

well i tried many other stuff but ummit wasnot as good cause of the intense colors of the pic but i will keep trying again

and for u coolnav i really believe that the quality of the image is abit low so i think u need to work abit harder on it though
