new theme.. how is it that the new rc week commenced before the prior's result is out ??

From what I can gather MOODY, it is a 'Continuous' competition format. I have only been here a short time, but have just been following everyone else . I just go with the flow.

We decided to give participants more time to know what new theme is and of course - also more time to enter

when i used to be active in here things were a little different , a new week used to start only after the results of the previous week was settled and also the winner's theme was used for the next week.. but now things have changed a little and so is M9

The starting and ending r really awesome but I'm not sure of the first two transitions...do look into it Plus be sure of not including britney in the title when u name ur mix at M9

cool mix.. maybe for my taste too much effects and those 2 beats in first part are too high together (i would decrease volume at one of them)... but thats just my opinion. Anyway.. very unusual and cool mix

I agree with guys about your transitions.
Anyway.. the fact is that second song you are using in your mix is very hard to mix with other songs. I took liberty to make something out of those 3 parts you posted and how i would put those 3 songs together. Dont take me wrong or that i am trying to pretend smart... just wanna help if i can.

About your transitions - they look like this:



You faded out 0,1 second on the end of first part, faded in 0,1 sec of second tune and just put them one after another.

This is how it should look (by my opinion):



Fade out 2-3 seconds on the end of the first tune. Fade in about same part of second tune. Put them together (move second part left -right until you find right point for beat match. (At least thats how im doing.)

My personal opinion: Transitions sounds really cool, beats over first Britney tune are still too high (sorry... luv that song.. would like to hear it more clear) - even, have to admit - they match good with the song.
I guess you are using Virtual DJ?

I am "old fashioned" in using effects, i use them just to "cover" bad transitions ... i like more clear sound from song. Thats only my opinion, you should listen to others as well.

But i still think its really great mix.

I use Soundforge 9.0 and Atomix Virtual Dj I have FL Studio but i havnt used it yet
