On one end, mobile phones are packed with all types of features. On the other end you have mobile phone with a size that is similar to a credit card stuck in your pocket. ohmy.gif

According to the source, this phone is going to be on the Indian market first this June/July.

... this eye candy mobile phone produced by Real Card Phone Company measures the same as three credit cards do which amounts to 5.9 mm in thickness (less than a quarter inch). Weighing just 37 grams (one third ounces) this non-sizeable innovation supports both a dual band GSM GPRS connectivity and voice recognition with a voice dialing option. With all its benefits Card Mobile Phone happens to be a combination of simplicity, lightness and attractiveness. Card Mobile Phone is available with either a monochrome or color screen.

Card Mobile Phone is fitted with a 460 mAh battery, enabling more than 200 minutes of talk time or 100 hours while operating on standby. Being able to support many languages, new model can be operated via a special onscreen dial pad since it does not have a standard keypad. New mobile phone also supports texts messaging with the possibility to only send those fixed messages included in its database.

Your turn now: Which type of phone do you prefer? unsure.gif Those with a size like the iPhone/Nokia N-series and packed with a lot of features (camera, music player, browser etc)? Or those which is super thin and comes with basic phone feature (voice call, SMS etc)?

I like sleek phones but my love for features in other phones overpowers my need to buy a sleek one smile.gif Also leaving iPhone n N-series(feel like paper-weights) aside i think there r phones decently sleek and containing loadz of features wink.gif

These credit card phones can be handy for younger students and for travelling purposes smile.gif

i would first look at the features a phone provides. i am a gaming and music freak, so i would need a phone with a good screen, fast processor, sufficient RAM, and enough storage for all my music. of course, it would be great if the phone was slim too, but i guess u cant have everything in one package can you? laugh.gif

if its like a credit card. does it mean we can have credit in it like cash???

A compromise. I don't tend to go for really bulky phones but IMO the size of the iPod touch (I know the iPhone is a bit fatter) is fine. If it's too small it feels fragile and easy to lose, at least with some bulkiness when I stand up I can feel it's in my pocket. This stopped me losing my T68i in Italy, I immediately realised it was missing.

I'm also a feature person, although I may not use them all the time I do like playing with all these new features on the first few days that I have the phone.

I think releasing a small phone that just makes calls is a good idea, a lot have said they just want a phone that sends calls and can handle text messages.

A phone that slim can't be very durable, put it in your pant's pocket and sit down, it will most likely break... Just look what's happening to the Palm Pre:

Even though it's a relatively thick phone, it seems to be breaking easily... what can be expected from a much thinner phone? I imagine you would need to pamper it a lot for it not to break... my 2c
