I myself have been working on a personal project some skin modifications for my iphone 3G, but i should still make the deadline with my entry

As i say, this is my final version of the theme, with some minor changes:

- Background is now more consistent (changed image and saturation)
- Normal text is now white (improves usability and visivility)
- Media skin hanged with the new background and Walkman ™ logo
- Added title image
- Some minor color changes that improves UI

Here is the preview image:

And here the theme for download (for personal purposes only ;-):

This Theme is very nice. i like it very much.. All Natural.. using leaves as softkeys and highlights is a great idea..

wOw your theme is great. and the softkeys , highlights ,status bar is really great.. nice techy effect. but you could have used a better technical wallpaper... this one is great too. Whats the name ?

Not an expert suggestion, but a suggestion: I would change the statusbar and title of the third screen (maybe into blue also...), and the desktop highlight. Other than that it's really nice!!!

@gault: Hope you can see it now...

I'm actually not in the mood to make many changes, also I don't have so much time. Anyway, suggestions are always welcome...

Not an expert suggestion, but a suggestion: I would change the statusbar and title of the third screen (maybe into blue also...), and the desktop highlight. Other than that it's really nice!!!

Hi! For be your first sony theme, is very good, but... bars in titles and highlights are making the theme poor usable, text doesn't read clearly. You need to change this, use only gradients and think in use a shine effect instead of bars ;-)

Im really confused about the colors of my theme. since The creamy color and Red color have two votes already. now you will vote for one from these two..

heres the preview.

The red color looks more dazzlling and also matches with the sparks. while the Creamy color gives better visibility...

Select From The Following Options :

A . Red
B . Creamy
C . Another Color (Define color if you choose "C")

B. Creamy!! Looks very clear!

Title and highlight texts are ilegible. You need to change the bars. The first rule in a theme, is that needs to be usable. In second stage, you can play with the design, but if isn't usable, people doesn't use it! Keep it in mind! ;-)

are u serious? awesome work for a first theme!

follow bmr's advice, tho

try changing the highlight text color to blue or something to make it more legible. else overlay a black layer with about 70-80 percent transperancy over the highlight

i've darkened the softkeys and status-bar. and i have also changed the Navigation Screen title to a blue one...

btw : theres no status bar on the third screen. make sure you add it..

@ - narnia - ok for starters it is quite nice and technical skin .... but the text is being very hard to read anywhere on your theme, due to such high levels of scan lines ( patterns etc ) i firstly suggest to go through each layer where text is to be used eg: on highlight graphics, and lower the patterns opacity settings, this should preserve your effect, while also making text readable. OR you could opt to add a detail over the top of your other details to make it readable, like a small indent bevel effect, thats just one idea, there is many ways this could be approached

But in the end you have done fine job with your entry the rest will come with time and practice

Ok started on my one today finally lol, after some thought and testing, here is first screen of mine, again nothing crazy this topic, but each color, and gradient has been chosen for it's ability to suit this theme. This will be one theme I wish i could use myself

np, and for cool fade effect to your patterns, where text is, instead of lowering the layers opacity, you could also use a soft brush as eraser, and use the rectangular marque tool on a feather of maybe 5 % , this would add fade to your pattern areas etc, anyways have fun
