Thats why I hate multiple colours, gets too messy, they can end up looking like a technicolour yawn. Or maybe I'm like the family dog and only see in 2 shades of grey anyway.

yeah i also agree bout the too many colours thing, which is why i was kinda concerned bout the pic i chose!

Sorry 'bout that, I thought you were talking about the signals. Are you using carbide? I found inkscape great for highlights. I have been using the elipse shape, retangle with rounded corners and boder 1 colour and another colour filing the shape, you can then shade the fill from light at the top to dark at the bottom, or the other way around. Or, select image properties (in paint.NET) and make the image partially transparent. This is why I use inkscape, you can do so much more with the grid & list highlights there.

Nah not using carbide, wanted to try it again but for some reason now cant figure out how to upload images....i did something to the setup! dont ask.....I have no idea!

i forgot i had downloaded inkscape...ill go have a play now!

If your talking about uploading a file into carbide, like background or the like. Right click the section you want to change and left click select file, then go to the location on your PC and hit ok. If your using thatskin, it's carbide online.

thats what I mean, ive made the select file icon thingy disappear! dont know how! me + computers = bad things

But I think I'll start next week, I don't have so much time at the moment...

@NVDVS: just saw ur entry in the "finalentry" thread. it looks pretty good . but the one problem is that the white shine on the ball tends to interfere with the white text in some places, like the "media player", for example

decision time.....do i stick with the blue softkeys? or do i try to go with this one::

i like white softkeys more.

but you have to choose what do you like the most.

Both pics looks great, but the one with the star is probably more effective and IMHO better fits the topic than the other one...

yes they do look much better in white ... BUT i suggest also changing the outer stroke from dark blue to be either white or off white, as the dark blue stroke don't work imo

shame the images are soooo small, very hard to really see your detials etc, but yes colors are good, theme looks nice, the analouge clock is a good match for the wallpaper imo, well done

@Gault - theme the star image - that is one great looking design.

@BBT: with the white SK, the blue border looks a lot classier, as u will see in a few moments

@ALL: ok...it took me a good amount of time to redesign everything. now u guys have to ell me which one should be my final entry
