Hello M9ers!

A couple of updates about the different contests we have in M9.

Ringtone Challenge
All the fantastic DJs have done it again , this time creating a new record (highest no. of participants) in last week's challenge. Congratulations!

Besides, we have selected a new RC Manager to help Panto with managing the challenge that is increasingly popular. Please welcome Christina86! Christina has been very supportive since she joined us. We're glad to have her on board.


ThemeMaking Challenge
As a lot of you are aware, the 1st TMC in 2009 has just started early this week. We are glad that it's well received, with 17 confirmed participants so far. Thank you themers , you made the TMC alive again!


Wallpaper Competition
Similarly, the WPC kicks off 2009 with a new topic - Photo Manipulation.

Dezal, former WPC Manager, resigns due to lack of time. Hence, we have selected a new manager who is determine to make the WPC a success. Please welcome BoxieBlue!


Contest Participation
A while ago, we asked you to list your participation entries so that we can add to your achievement. We have completed the process for some members. We're still working on the rest. Thanks for your patience. Looks like Jasnasto is the first member to achieve maximum achievement points in contest, hence earning her a Contest Sage badge. And Technokid1974 is on course to getting his too!

From now on, all contest entries will also be featured in the community main page. Participants (who didn't win) will receive a certificate in their profile.

i think it will be Gallery Sage or Upload Master Or QC Passed appliances

contest sage? you have got me all lost, vince. care to explain in more detail?

contest sage means that the person has completed all the required tasks to achieve the rank of Sage in contests.

when you earn them. only two people know what kind of badge it is and how it looks like. one of them will be Patrick i suppose and the other person will be the one who creates them. i think dragon2590 created all those badges.

oh...so what u mean to say is only the owners can see them? and not the general public?

no, everyone can see them once they are won by you. for example. two people have won Contest Sage badge.

visit their profiles and you will see. no one has won the gallery badge yet. Kashif85 is at the top. but even he has to go a long way to earn that badge.

Hey Arthur, I cant see any personal upload option in this new M9 site where is it. I want to upload a .AMR format file for my mobile. And I also have suggestion please add .AMR option to upload section because most of mobile are compatible with this format.

you cant upload .amr files you have to first convert them to mp3 format.

use audacity and lame mp3 encoder to convert files to mp3 format
