good day

i couldn't dowload the guide in the pinned topic... don't know why, i tried several times... probably because i don't have the r2-something they keep mentioning in the thread...
if anyone would be so kind as to teach me how to make this semitransparent images... thank you very much!

For the highlight, highlight small, and popup highlight in K700i themes?
A normal image has a 100% opacity, now to make it transparent, you got to lower down it's opacity to your desired level. Below is an example of an image with 100% opacity and another one with just 70% opacity. Now that image with a lesser opacity is the one you will use to have transparent highlights. But the most important of all is to save it (save for web) as png-24.

thanks ma'm pia

but the only option that appears is "none" and "interlace"... i'm using PS 7 by the way... is this a feature on PS CS?... it looks fine on the preview... but will this affect the appearance on the phone?...
i'm done with my TMC theme for this week... will post preview soon
again, thank you ma'm pia!

You should be able to do it with PS 7 like that just fine?
Make sure when you create a new pic that transparent is checked, see if this makes a difference, if not can you provide a print screen (a preview) of where it says interlace, thanks

i've never seen that option before... but will try it nonetheless... thanks again...
here's what happened when i used the interlace option that automatically appears... i tried on the phone and it still appears semi transparent... but i never saw an option for the png 24... could it be a default function? in any case... here's what i got after everything...
again, thanks for all the help!!!!!

Why all that trouble?

Just change this number, save as PNG, done.

@ Crystal how about understanding that not everyone knows all the ins and out of ps mate , weng was not aware of even where to find the opyion let alone how to use it , sure i agree it can be made simplier but this would only work for those who already know where to find it

I know. That´s why I pointed at this setting. I think it is much easier for a beginner to change this setting instead of changing the opacity in the layer control panel. There are so many settings available there that I don´t know what they do exactly, that might be a bit too much for him.
Everything else you described is perfect, like creating, pasting, and especially saving as PNG.
No affront in my abpve post!
