im trying to learn theme making, and i downloaded Series 60 Theme Studio (for Symbian OS) v. 1.14 ..

i just wanna know if there is any other theme editor for nokia s60 because i find nokia's theme studio to be too slow...

Yes there are really slow. Well there is another one in the store (mobile9 store) and you could purchase it with your mobile9 dollars.

No a lot different as it works very unlike Series 60 Theme Studio (java). Works a lot faster but if you are a beginner the one in the shop is not for you, cause the guide in sizes is not clearly stated including the right proportions.

You can try it out, you've been making N6600 themes for quite sometime now and I'm sure you could find you way with it. Though personally I still prefer to use the Series 60 Theme Studio.

i downloaded the stuff but it was just the theme editor it is a lot faster than the old theme studio but you have to put an image for each and every single item in there, no shortcuts, unlike the studio which has basegraphics whenever i'm too lazy or tired to to make my own images

but i guess i'll try it again when i'm at about wintot's level of expertise... still very dependent on the previews option of the theme studio

uhm, since this is a "questions" thread, may i ask how i can have an avatar and a signature of my own even if i don't have my own website? thanks

anyways.. i learned how to use nokia's theme studio and stephano's theme editor and here is what i found out...


i got no talent in making themes... im just not the artistic

i guess you can't download "talent"

i'll just leave the theme-making to you experts.

hey, i'm no expert but you can always post or PM us a request but you have to be patient with these themes, they do take some time to get used to you should try again... this time post previews of your work... mob9 themers will surely be happy to guide as you make your themes
