Overview
This is a Zelda fan game for mobile phones that I've been working on for the purpose of learning J2ME. The second demo features an entire other dungeon as well as an updated HUD and various other features designed to improve the quality of the game. There is a PC version for demo 1 hosted on rapidshare, but now for demo 2. Do not host without permission.

Please tell me of any bugs, or ways to improve EoC in the forums.
Also, please do not host EoC on your site without permission.

Progress
I would say that it is about 70% done.

Wow from the previews it's looking very good. You're doing this to learn j2me you say, does that mean this is your first j2me game? It looks like it's going to way out do my first attempt at a j2me game wink.gif

I'm downloading now and will try it out when i next sync my phone. I see you're using fog in one of the screens, does it work ok on the phone? I have heard a lot about it slowing the phone right down.

It's good to see another java developer here thumbsup.gif

Edit: It doesn't work on my k850: midp 2.1. Restarts the phone when i try to run it and my theme was reset.

Going to try it with the pc emulator

Wow, you think it's that good? Thank you =happy.gif=
Yeah, that sounds like what happens with the second demo on the PC emulator. You should try downloading Demo 1 to your phone and see if it works. Also, you can download an emulator at http://www.forum.nokia.com/info/sw.nokia.c...tform_SDKs.html that will play Demo 2. Look for the 3rd series, which is a 5300.

1.1 still crashes my k850. I didn't get any luck with the sony ericsson sdk emulator either. Is the reason it crashes because it uses some nokia only classes which sony ericsson doesn't have?

Haven't tried the nokia sdk's emulator

Edit: I got it running with the my sdk. I got to as far as meeting the person with a mushroom and got stuck wink.gif. Yeah i think it's a very good game smile.gif. I don't understand why it crashes on my phone? I noticed when i got it running on my sdk it kept complaining about the recordstore not existing* so could be something to do with that?

Great work SoraCross,
SoraCross
I'll look into it, Vin. and Thank you, Vageta.

Everyone, I have released a trailer of my new Zelda Demo (2.5) and I will only release it if I get good feedback. This means that people will have to post good comments and give good ratings if they want this released.
