I have made also backgrounds for the Media Player
Portrait and Landscape
the quality tho isn't that good because I had to take a picture with my cam and it isn't easy to capture a smooth picture from a screen

Hi guys,
Was trying very hard to get my entry out as quick as I could. But in spite of tmc 212 running for 2 weeks, I still found myself rushing up to the very last minute - almost didn't make it.

Anyway, this is my entry


...with big, big help from jas' (thanks Jas ) , I managed to get the correct preview into the final entry.
BUT only after uploading did I notice readability issues...
so... other than readability, if any one notices anything else, or if you have any comments or suggestions, please feel free to let me know - it'll still help improve my theme making

Rod, you're more than welcome... and I really like what you have done with the bars and backgrounds especially... amazing work...

Yes, you have some readability issues with the menu text, but I'm sure it can be fixed with some dark shade of brown... I'd also like to see softkeys' text in orange (like the one on the titltes)... and maybe navigation highlights' text as well... apart from these corrections, I think the other screens look just fine... the sliders' background could've been more similar to the backgrounds on some screens, but it might be just me... and, don't forget to change the colour of the volume staples...

And we have extremely close race among 4 themes... after 9 voters, one of them is in a lead for only one point ahead of the other 3, which are tied...

1. Dragon- Perfect

2. rjdsouza - Apart from the readability and the blue signal bars (which was only cause of lack of time) It is a great theme. Do the tabs work ok on the phone? Really like what was done with the background image used through-out

3. ghassemoo- Good choice of highlights, fit in perfectly with the rest of the theme.

4. zjurina- Love the idea on how the title and main body text was split

5. Azyrash- Like how the style matches the image used. Only concern is how easy much highlighted text stands out. On the phone it is probably ok but on my monitor is a bit hard to see.

vegetaleb- i'd be interested to see what the theme looks like with slightly transparent highlights. The highlights on the pop-up screen go very well though

Atalantos- Looking good

I can’t express my feelings they way I want too…
I’ll give it a try but please I don’t want to offend anyone… if it sounds like that I didn’t mean it

Everyone has his/hers style of theming and doesn’t mean that he/she has the best one

So Azyrash, I’m starting from you because you were 1st
The standby, barwork and the readability is great. I don’t feel the same with the pattern and coloring that you used for the background at the rest of the theme
You are using the same colors for the background (Black transparent) / highlights (Black transparent) and also the same color for background text (White) / highlight text (White). Imo I think that they have to be different so that it would give you the expression of the “Highlight”
The effort tho is recognizable and respectable by me.

tho 2 things I don’t like on your theme and those are only because of my taste
1. the text colour of the titles, I prefer to have the same color as the highlights and

Vegetaleb very good standby, I like this paper wrap border effect
imo if you have done that also with the bars, popups and inputs borders probably it would be my favorite for this week
2 things also the desktop highlight is missing, probably you prefer it this way
and I feel that the tab selected and unselected are looking like they were supposed to belong for an other theme
nevertheless is a very good theme

Dragon welcome back at the tmc
I’m not a really fan of the very busy themes but I can’t also not to recognize the hard work for it.
It seams that they are missing some pixels from the borders of your cropped screens but don’t think that’s the issue here.
I have one objection about the navigation text color... is too bright with the rest concept… imo it would be better if you were used a different background coloring so that you can use a darker text

…don’t feel that they match with the macho man cowboy
