i've been thinking of ways to prevent other people from claiming my themes as their own... i guess we've all been a victim of these lazy b@$+@r>$...

i've tried placing my username in an image of the theme... but they still claim my themes and post them on other sites... so now i'm making my theme name files start with my username... anyone who installs them will instantly know i made the theme...

this is why i need to know if there's any way someone can just download my themes and change the theme name file (...not the sis file name...)... i mean i know we can do this if we have the tdf file... but what if all they have is the sis file?

no need to explain the process here if you know of a way to do this... i just need to know

thank you very much...

Leechers will do anything to steel. We just have to do what we've got to do and hope that it works. smile.gif

I, like many themers here, just make sure that are usernames and the site mobile9.com is written somewhere in the theme's background (either in the standby or menu background or even popups). It will be quite hard to change that without the tdf file (for N6600 themes) and besides the only way to remove it is to erase it in photoshop but it would require great talent not to ruin the image. smile.gif Like this one here below:

With the work that needs to be done in order to remove the name, I think they would prefer to just make their own themes. smile.gif Now if they wouldn't bother to remove them, then at least your name and the sites name are there and they could never say they made it. thumbsup.gif
