does anyone have any good antivirus software that actually work on a nokia n73 as i am struggling to find one that works??

Why would you need one? There aren't any harmful viruses for that platform.
just thought that i go on the net with it and didn't want to get any viruses that way?

Try kaspersky anti virus or F secure these two are most used for N73

You can't be safe from your own ignorance unfortunately. 
There is no malware virus that effects S0 3rd edition devices. But all you have to do is not install anything that looks dodgy.
