Let me start off by saying that this movie was released back in November of last year. The amazing cast just pulls you into the atmosphere of viking like folklore. The conversation scenes includes terms such as "ragnarok".

But those aren't the strong points of this under rated movie, the movie is offered in 3D (not all cinemas are able to play 3D movies, at least not the 3 ones here in Qatar) and 2D. The computer generated graphics are stunning and I was left wondering if I was watching real people on some scenes.

The combat sequences are astonishing and grabs you at the start of the movie when "grendell" makes his appearance at the beginning of the movie.

All I have to say is this one is a must watch, even if most of you were disappointed with the previous film, polar express.

AzureSephiroth's Rating: 8.5/10 for heavy emphasis on 3D which doesn't quite work on the normal 2D (flat) version. Everything else is flawless.

to be honest the animation doesnt make it work for me it's still just little more than a gimmick. it has some great actors in it could have be a great film if it was not animated

which includes how they made blood splatter a comic effect with no real physics...

downloaded it and watched it the day before yesterday ...

i love it the graphics animations are amazing and addictive ...

a must see movie for every 3d animated movie lover ...

in some of the moments u cant actually figure out if its

3d or real life videos in this movie ... this is going to be

one of the best 3d animated movies ever ...

Not just the animation ... the story is awesome , in fact most of the movies based on mythology are good

I'd give Beowulf an overall 9.5
