I have tried downloading ring tones from this site onto my w810i, and my phone won't let them be used as a ringtone, or caller id tone, etc. can anyone please advise?

so haw are you downloading them? strait from mobile9 2 your mobile by wap? or you download them 2 your PC and then send them 2 your mobile?

i download them like i download jar games; to my PC then send them to my phone's "other" folder, or its "ringtones" folder, or the "MP3" folder. it appears in the appropriate folder on my phone, and i can play the ringtones, but when i got to "use as" none of the options such as "Ringtone" "Caller Ring" "Alarm Tone" etc. are selectable - where as these options are available when i download ringtones off of rogers store via my cellular internet. thanks please advise

go 2 my files and send them 2 music folder. have you done that yet?

if you want 2 use them as a ringtone? go 2 the song you like a hit more, then go 2 use as, and choose what you want 2 use it 4 any good now?

and negative, even the MP3 songs i have on my phone cannot be used via that... i tried this on another SE (the flip phone version of this phone) and couldn't use mp3's for ringtones at all... it is seriously confusing...

do you know if any w810i's could use mp3's for ringtones?

4 shore you can use mp3's 4 ringtones

so if you go 2 menu, then, my files, then, music, then when u find the ringtone you like, you cant hit more on the right hand side on the bottom, and get options 2 pick, like music player, send , use as, manage file? if you can see this just pick use as, then choose ringtone, alarm signal, message alert or contact ringtone and it all should be good

it may be the way i'm transferring the files to my phone then... i'm sending them straight to the folder and not using the "disc-to-phone" program that came with the phone... i'll look into that as a solution
