anybody have a basic game maker i could learn to use to make a game or two???

not really, game making isn't that easy. you have to learn Java, Javascript, C++ to be able to make even simple games

I don't know how to make games for a mobile phone.

But if you don't want to learn any scripting language, I advice RPG Maker XP.

You can add scripts if you want.

In Februari comes the new version, RPG Maker VX (english).

You have to buy it but RPG Maker XP has a hacked version somewhere on the internet


For RPG Maker are there many communities where you can ask for help, find tutorials and ask for scripts.

ah...you have a point there. i didn't read it carefully enough. since this is a mobile site, i naturally assumed he wanted to make mobile games. thats why i said he couldn't do it easily
