History:
P900 and upwards supports customizable themes that come in a UTZ format.
Only unlucky model was the p800, despite the fact there were other applications that did it (Performance Degrades were persistent due to a constant memory flow required by the third-party applications).
Technical Form:
In reality they are simply tarred (TAR ARCHIVES) files comprising image, sound and a XML files that are required to change the appearance of the phone.
Naming Structure:
The Names of the Theme files that are for P1i end with UTZ,
That is;
variableName.utz
Process of Installation:
- connect your phone to the PC using the docking station (or DCU 60 Datacable) that comes with your phone.
or else,
if you are have downloaded the theme onto your phone from the web, simply skip to the point after next.
- copy the UTZ files (Theme files) to
/themes
folder on the smartphone's MemoryCard or the internal memory.
- simply goto the control panel and you would find something to reading Appearence/Display, then select "Theme", and navigate to the name of the UTZ file that you transferred.
-click on it, and say "apply", and
