thememaking is so addicitive! I'm going to enter the next challenge i think. Don't worry, my entry will be better, this was kinda a test to what looks good, what is what, etc.
Please reply!

few pointers:
-the title text is hard to see, visibilty is key to a theme.
-forgot the loading bar colour
-now you got the basics down, try some more advanced techniques, bevel, gradients.
-remember the key factors when making themes, visibility, simplicity, if you follow those, themes would always be good.

I was looking here last night, but Adonis said pretty much everything I was thinking. Just tinker around in the blending options in photoshop (if you are using photoshop). And do an internet search to find out instructions on how to make certain textures in photoshop, its amazing the kind of stuff you can make yourself, and how real it looks.

Yout theme is nice, this is pretty much how my themes looked when I started, good and clean, there's heaps of potential there!

Good job. Make another one for us!

bane, personally I'd go with light text on dark backgrounds and dark text on light backgrounds. i am not sure your black title texts and desktop text will be very visible once on the phone.
