Hi
Can anyone tell me how to create progress bar in nokia s60
and also tell me how can i add icons for applications such as smart movie and feplorer.
i am using carbide 3rd edition

It should be like all other elements?

if you want to make a progress bar,you need a software called "adobe image ready" to create an animated image(since that the progress bar is animated).

icons for softwares like fexplorer or smart movie cannot be changed by carbide.or in other words you don't change them using a theme editor.

i knw that there is no option in carbide to change the icons of applications
but people do that i have seen it in many themes so i wana know how they change it
also tell me i can create animated images but how can i put them in carbide and where is the option to change the progress bar in carbide

1-progress bar:
first of all,you can change it from:
indicators->wait /progress bar indicators.
you will find a window telling you that the preview for this option is unavailable,it's not going to be a problem.
so u just add the image and we are done.

2-application icons:
there's a certain software for the phone which enables you to do it.but not quite sure what the name of that software was.

As far as I know,you can add 3rd party application icons in Carbide UI,as long as you know the program UID-s....

Here's how..

To skin icons in the Carbide.ui, that are not defined there by default, choose from the menu:

Window->Preferences

On the left side choose: Carbide.ui->Third Party Icons

Specify the Application UID and Name. The UID identifies the icon in the phone, the Name will be only displayed in the Carbide.ui (it does not change the name on the phone).

Here are some of the UIDs of Nokia applications and applications that are very often preinstalled in the device that are not predefined in the Carbide.ui, in alphabetical order:

Adobe Reader 20001bb9

Flash Player 101fd693

Snakes 10208a45

Sports Tracker e4935e8

Team Suite 101f8f3c

Tutorial 10208a86

Wellness Diary e4935ea
