BadBoyThemer, thanks 4 the follow up
one thing that I didn't know how to do; after I got the signal & batt indicators in the theme, I wasn't able to give them a transparent background as u can see in the screenshot below

so my question is; how to give some items a transparent background when another layer can't be added as u mentioned in ur previous post?
another thing that I couldn't find although I changed all the text colors that I could find on Carbide was the font color in the pic below

thank u guys 4 the help in advance
this is easy too , simply remember that Black acts as a Mask ( meaning it makes it transparent ) , so basically the darker you make the mask layer , the more transparent it becomes , which means the opposite happens with the color white , the whiter you make the masking layer , the more visible it will be become

eg : To make a signal bar like yours do the following
1 - open it to edit the siginal bar section
2 - make two layers , One will act as the main color ( the one we see ) and the other the bg becomes the masked layer the one we can't see , and you make this Black

OR another way to do it , is to open the signal bar to edit as above , but this time
convert to BMP image , and then save as .....
now go into the carbide studio where you'll see this image now has a mask layer , select this to edit it , and again make it black etc ..

To answer the other question about the font color , this particular section is found in the Colors section of carbide , go there , and then look for unselected list text

OR and even easier way to do this , is to simply click on one of the Screenshot images found in your right menu.
then simply click on the desired area of the screenshot ( in your case the text you want to change color of )
Now the studio will opne this area to be edited , you can edit color one of two ways either with using carbide color tools , OR edit in vector application like Illustrator cs.
Easy
ok hoe that helps man.
