Hi all,
I bet most of you don't remember me, I'm one of the old school members smile.gif. Anyway, onto the question:

1.) Do phones with mobile tv, like the LG VX9400, have any additional fees that I have to pay for in order to watch television? Does it use GPRS?

2.) Are there any phones out for Cingular with mobile tv that doesn't make you pay any additional fees?

Thanks for all of your help!

In the UK you might need a TV license.
If it is streaming TV then I would think you get charged, also you might need a 3G/3.5G handset, GPRS is way too slow for streaming TV.

But if it has an integrated DVB tuner, then I'm presuming it will pick up digital signals without any GPRS/3G. This works in Korea and Japan.

I mean in the US.

Runs on something called MediaFLO-based VCAST TV service, so I'm presuming it's EV-Do based streaming and doesn't have DVB capability.

how about phones that have analog tv tuners. Is there a mobile phone that exist today that has this feature?
