it will take longer and u have 2 take your memory card out allways witch will get annoying. i never have any problems with USB. what mobile u got?
joebhoy
i've got k750i...
ssivic
Well I have w800 and K750 and when I use my USB cable for transfering my files...you need first to click on remove safely button....but it allways say it is busy...so it wont disconnect my usb cable...than I must unplug it manualy...and most of my data even from MMC gets corrupted!

I have had a very bad experience with the usb cord and SE. I unpluged my w600i before ejecting the drive (safety hardware removal) and I got the wonderful WSOD (white screen of death) when I access my files (that I did not know were corrupted) jUst be sure to eject the phone before u unplug it

thx itchy. i never did it b4, but now i will

I don't think so....it'll not hurt your mobile don't worry but make sure before you disconnect must click on safe removed if not it'll damage your file inside that all.......
joebhoy
does it affect battery life?
ssivic
@Kevin_Zhy

"click on safe removed if not it'll damage your file inside that all"

Well the problem is that in 90% when I use usb cable I am unable to click on that option, I click on it but it wont work....so to be safe I use card reader.
ssivic
@joebhoy

No
joebhoy
ok thanx for the info guyzzz...
linos_eric
It's better to use a card reader it's the most safe solution... I've had some of my data lost on a W800i I had 1 year ago. USB cables are not reliable, not only the Son Ericsson ones, but also the NOKIA ones. I owned a 3250. The USB was not good... 1.gif
