You know how we occasionally talk about people leaching our themes.
Here are some ideas to minimizing this.
1. Watermark - as previously suggested I think first by scooby - put in a small watermark in your theme images. Very good idea.
2. Themecreator tag - you know in T6xx themes created with tcpro a themecreator tag is inserted - this is read and displayed when someone uploads a theme to some sites. The official themecreator from S//E does not put in this tag in our K700 themes - but you can very easy put it in yourself. Simple rename your themefile extension from .thm to .zip - exctract the xml file and add the themecreator tag yourself manually and then put the xml file back in the .zip and rename it to .thm.
You can put in anything in the tag - the theme still works on the phone - heres an example:
<?xml version="1.0"?>
<Sony_Ericsson_theme version="3.0">
<Theme_creator Name=" Spawn - copyright http://spawnweb.dk"/>
I've asked Laffen to implement the reading of this tag from the k700 themes like its done in the T6xx themes - so your tag would be displayed as theme creator in the preview below the uploader name if someone else were to upload your themes.
This tag can of cource be changed by a leacher - but they would have to go a bit further than usual - and most of the leachers dont know this anyways.
