Full Version: Themes With Sound?
Is there such thing? Someone ever came across of one?
i dont think its possible but i guess there's a possibility of attaching a ringtone with a theme. i've seen it with theme creator pro .. but dunno abt nokia
all you do is, attach a url link to a sound file on the net.. works ok.

Ok I dont get what you are saying Kaspa.....
Anyways, I havent come across of any such themes. Believe me I've searched. Also theres only two applications (that I know of) used for theme making, Nokia Series 60 Theme Studio and Microforum Theme Editor and both had no built-in function of adding sound to the theme.
Even those professional theme makers like MangoThemes offer no such themes, if it was possible they'd probably put it on the themes that they have to offer. So I think that its all just someones wishful thinking! 8)
sorry, i meant in the zip file.. just include a wav sound file, or a notepad document with the url to the wav.

You know Kaspa what I meant was that when you install the theme to your phone, it comes with an assigned sound as you activate it or maybe as you go from one application to another on the phone, it would have a uniques sound instead of the keypad sound available on the phone.
Just like on the normal pc, you can assign various sounds as you launch an application, minimise it and so on. I dont see its possible in any way to do this. But wouldnt it be cool say if I open launch my Messages, theres a voice saying "Messages Launched". Again thats not possible, and if it is it wont be package with a theme.

I hear ya Kaspa buddy,And totaly get you.But i dont thinx Marul means,Just to add a tone in at the same as adding a theme,Ive never seen , or heard of it.But it would be cool if im hearing this right your meaning ie.Simpsons theme would play the Simpsons ringtone,And your keys when pressed might go DOH! is that what your on about m8 mmmm! 
P.S About the message bit i got my 6600,Using real voice when i receive a msg it says You have got mail i got a few files like this if ya need them.
