hey, i only posted it there after i posted it here. my loyalty is still with mobile9. it's just that that version was updated a few days after. c",) hehehe. besides, i was very excited to post my first (and then only) theme!

as you can see, my older theme was dark and quite simple. barely used photoshop on that one. as such, i'm not that satisfied with how it came out.

this is my second try. focused on the more popular costume (YELLOW SPANDEX!). i know there's still a lot of room for improvement. please, be kind enough to tell me the flaws i can't see due to creator's bias. thank you.

I think the application grid background needs to be dimmed or a lighter colour, because it kinda takes the focus off the brilliant picture icons you've used instead of normal icons. ( )

was an avid fan of voltron when it first aired on Philippine free TV

the 3rd dimension made it look goofy (just my opinion)

so, what do you think? how do i improve this?

some icons, pinboard to avoid looking squeezed, volume settings, and calendar

if you're looking for the one with the gold background, i'm afraid i made that myself and isn't available anywhere in the internet.

i looked at my old files if i kept the images i worked on (masked, selected, and refined) before i resized them for the theme but alas, all i had left were the resized (smaller) photoshop image files.

hey, if you really want something like that so bad, maybe we can work on a similar project in the future? and if i have some spare time, i'll try and make a golden 800x600 naruto wallpaper for you, just like the one in the N6600 theme. how does that sound?

thanks, however, i wonder if anyone else had this problem with the idle screen, it's ok on the preview but once installed in the phone, the center portion is totally mis alligned from the upper and lower screen parts. it cut off miss hu's topmost head and legs.

@wengweng2003 I am sorry to hear that and i cant comfirm it for you because i dont have a Nokia. My comment is purely based on what i can see on the pc. And to see how the overall theme is in colour wise and others stuff. But i am sure that there are plenty other members here that can help you around here.

fixed the bug... had something to do with how we are able to move the image on the theme studio... if a space is left on one of the sides, then it will automatically move the center screen's orientation once in .sis... this isn't shown on the preview

makes me wanna pray for a better theme studio from nokia... faster... more reliable... changes all the icons

on a more technical topic...

the grid highllight on the kelly hu theme i made was transparent with just a black outline... i tried doing the same on the superman theme but failed miserably... did the same exact thing i did (basegraphics) but still ended up with a white box with a black outline (also base graphics)...

does anyone know how to apply masks on the grid highlight?

used the theme editor for the first time

super fast compared to the theme studio

however, it made me realize a few things...
1. the preview option on the theme studio is very important...
2. i can be more flexible with the theme studio in terms of putting more artwork and making the elements more cohesive as a theme... not just indivual artworks
3. still wish the video camera icons on the theme studio were changeable... easier to change and swap icons on the editor
4. evrae and the rest of the veteran themers here at mobile9 have foresight i dare not even dream of... can't seem to properly put the individual pieces together in my head... harder to decide color schemes with the editor than the studio (all because of the preview option)
5. i lost my temper less often using the editor compared to the times when i used the studio... blinding speed... but less flexible

i can rant all day about which theme maker is better... i guess it all goes down to wishing there was a faster theme studio that changes all the icons...how hard can that be for nokia?

in the end, i still prefer the theme studio... more so because it's free

@wengweng2003 i would choose the pictures that have the babe uh hum person is bigger in it. Because if you would choose a picture where by the person is smaller it is even going to be smaller on the screen of the phone. Thats what i think so in this case i would choose the following ones from right to left row 1 pict 1 & 2 and maybe 3 row 2 2 & 3 en the big big picture that you used as backrgound for the other pictures.
