why are so many of my tones rejected??? their all 27 - 28 Secs!!!

if they are dupes they won't go thru. also make sure you follow tone posting guidelines.

I think I might have figured out what might be going wrong [or I may be wrong]. Maybe submission procedure? I had a whole bunch rejected because I didn't follow procedure hehehe.

You could just place Just Be Mix 01 or whatever [if you plan to upload multiple mixes of a song numbering them makes best sense] as title/name and the rest of the details under additional info [artist, remixer, etc] it makes tone titles shorter and looks neater. Also try to tag your tones so people can search for them easier. 5 max tags so for this one you could have put.

Oh yeah and nice tone although it's a bit too slow for my liking but that's just me.

Also quality I think the validaters decide if it is fit for public consumption. Things to avoid would be curses and what not.

Still don't fret if your tones are rejected it's natural.

In the earlier days things were more relaxed in terms of uploading tones [I used to make 30 sec tones] and named them whatever I liked and didn't tag em at all. But since the introduction of these rules I try my best to stick to them.

I admit I felt a lil' bad when my tones were rejected the 1st time it happened to me but after much thought I came to the conclusion that...
#1 mobile9 as a community is maturing. So rules are there to ensure that the community grows well and strong.
#2 admin/validating team know what they are doing
#3 I did not follow procedure so my tones got rejected.
#4 I had to adapt and follow rules to be a productive member of the community.

yes i think u should try it ... dont just rename the mp3 ringtone files , but use the name of the song that u used to create the mp3 ringtone as the title when uploading it ... but not the artist names ... check the pic out ...
