I’m actually new in theme making and I’m using the SE Theme Creator ver. 2.56 and recent ver. 3.10.
I’ve spotted 6 bugs so far and I’d like to shear them with all of you so that we can help each other to make better themes. Those bugs I new them from the TC (Theme Creator) ver. 2.56 and I was hoping to be fixed at the newer version 3.10 but they still are.
Those bugs that I’ve spotted are only for W900i interface (I think, because it’s the only phone that I have to test for) as for the other phones I don’t know and that’s why I started this topic.

1. Operator Name
At the TCP (Theme Creator Preview) we can see the position of where the Operator Name is, but actually isn’t. When you upload the theme to your phone the actual position is one line under.

2. Row Title
At the TCP we can see our beautiful colored Title, but to the phone just isn’t there.

3. Navigation Text Color
This is a bit difficult to explain because my English aren’t so good, bw I’ll try and with the help from the preview you will understand.
At the TC when you are choosing the Text Color for the navigation (in our case is white) and it takes place in the two first lines (Time / Date) which is the active text. The 4th line is the inactive text which has Black color (Daylight saving) in other words the opposite color. If you look carefully at the MP (Mobile Preview) you will find that the color of the inactive text is grey (it’s a darker tone from the white). This means that whatever color we will choose, the color at the 4th line will be the same color but darker (for example if we chose red the 4th line will be dark red, green / dark green, yellow / dark yellow…).

4. Tab Selected
As the TC says, the dimensions of the Tab Selected are 69x39, actually is 68x39. It’s one pixel less in wide and it’s missing from the right. As for the Activity Menu Tab Selected it works normally, as in the dimensions TC says (79x39).

5. More List
Here I was trying to get a black transparent (png file) so that I will have the above result, but also here, there is a problem. You can’t put any transparent file (I’ve tried both 8 bits/channel and 16 bits/channel and the result was the same) because simply it won’t be able to. It gives you an ugly black result (whatever transparent color or image you will choose).

6. Input 1
This is a little bit tricky; the TC says that the dimensions of the Input are 240x266, actually it using 240x226 (40 pixels less in high). That's because at the phone adds the "Title Small" bar (240x40) and moves the rest of the picture under the softkey bar (just look at the preview bellow). No comment for that, just try to focus your image in the 226 pixels in high and the rest 40 will be under the Standby Softkey bar.

The Row Title doesn't appear in the theme creator and on the w550i. But you can see it in you w810i.
You People understand what I mean?

It will be helpful if we try to keep the same way of reporting the bugs, because I think there are people who are new in theme making.

is there a way that i cld make my row title visible in the phone?

Well row title is been visible when you are speaking on the phone.
This is kind of stupid
you can’t see it because the phone is at your ear (unless if you are using the hands-free).

For example… when you are making a new call , it will appear first the
popup screen (which says the info of who you are calling to) and when it’s
been answered it appears the row title and the picture of the one you are
calling (if you had added one). This is also when you are receiving a call.

I think this would be the 7th bug of the TC.
Actually the row title isn't visible when you are in the picture gallery of your
phone as the TC preview looks, but it's been visible when you are making or receiving a call.

This is kinda frustating. Makes no point to put the row title in theming when u can't see it in the phone.

Another bug from the TC



The TC generates a black pixel line at the right of the softkey bar. This is visible only at the preview not at the phone, thank God.

This line appears at the:
1> Standby
2> Row Title
3> Tabs
4> Popup
5> Morelist
6> Activity Menu
7> Activity Small
8> Expand More List and
9> Min More List
