i had this problem.
the problem is the general popup i think, you can't have it too detailed.
it must be as simple as possible.
*i think it's the general highlight?

It's actually the "
list highlight".

thanks, but now it won't let me put anything in it. all it tolerates is the base graphics. i tried deleting the files for the list highlight corners (as was discussed in a forum) but ended up with empty squares as corners(all 4 corners of the list highlight).
i tried using different images. i even tried making the entire theme from scratch. the program just won't allow me to use anything altered in the highlights section. really sucks. i don't know what to do with this anymore. is it time to give up?

Have you tried editing it by using the paint bucket to change its colour? Same error occurs? That's very unusual.

don't know how it happened but the theme studio is working again. i deleted all my themes and reinstalled the program. now i'm refraining myself from using bevel&emboss layer effect on the highlight part.
hope nothing like this happens to anyone else again.
