AMD makes fast processors for gaming, but Intel are more for mathematecal commands. AMD processors become hot faster, therefore Intel's are safer, but they are also more expensive.

May 9 2009, 10:14 PM
hmmm...i thought AMD processors were more expensive
ssivic
May 10 2009, 12:13 AM
Actually Intel is more expensive, and as elaginn said, AMD has big cooling issues, because he is heating to much. I am always using Intel, once for a month I had AMD, and it was disaster, I played a lot of games, and it ...burned lol Than I bought Intel, and never had a problem with it. Now I am using 3.2 Dual core Intel, and I must say it is more than good.
Besides, now a days for gaming the processor is not so relevant as RAM, and Graphich card, and its memory

Intel is best for all purposes and never fails unless you harm it by overclocking.
But I heard many people saying that AMD sucks with Microsoft office and other software.

If you remove the CPU cooling system suddenly when CPU is running, AMD will explode before Intel.

AMD is faster on that way.

I have Intel in my laptop and as long as it keeps running without overheating (seeing I leave my laptop on 24/7) and works well with all my graphics programs I am happy with it.
I don't play games on my laptop.
