Can u have animated themes on the z1010 liek u can on the k700i?

Tested two animated K700 themes on my Z1010.
And they did _not_ work, well the animated part didn't work.

well K700 themes would not work properly anyway would they, as all components are stretched or shrunk?

You need to try one with a 176*182 animation.


Btw can you fill me in on the eal with the menu preview? In the theme editor we enter a menu background of 176*142 and in the menu with the 'small title' the title is only 176*19..... in my mind that leaves 21 empty rows of pixels..... how does the phone handle that? Or does the 'small title' not exist at all on the phone?

Hmm.. just tried a regular gif-anim(74x67) and set it as background.
It played just fine on the standbyscreen.

So the Z1010 can handle animation, then a animated theme would probably work to.

Acctually i don't know where the "Small title" is used.
I guess the only place where I've seen it when you start the phone when you insert the PIN-code.

All menus have 176x142 as backgound and 176x40 as title.

Well I didnt mean if k700 themes work on it, just wondering if it could have animated.

Now I can´t w8 until I get home form Greece (after I go for a 2 weeks holiday there) so I can buy my z1010

I was wrong about the "Small title".
It isn't used when you put in the PIN-code. So i have no idea when it's used :/
