I just got a new k700 and i wanted to make some themes. I was halfway through a theme and had to save it. when i went back to it later it won't open. So then i tried downloading some from the site and trying to open them....didn't work either...

Does this happen with anyone else and does anyone know a way to get around it? thnx.

i have version 1.4

I think it must be a bug that was overlooked. I've heard 1.3 works fine so if anyone can possibly e-mail 1.3 to me or post somewhere where i can get it? I have informd SE about the program and they are going to fix it.

This is the error message i get.

Make sure the theme creator is using the correct phone, what i mean is open the theme creator and go to file>change phone> (choose the phone that the themes you want to open are for)> and then try opening them, once the theme creator wouldn't open a theme with me of this


edit: However i never got any error messages but i was using 1.3?

Maybe there was an error with the theme i was tring to open then? As it's opening fine now?

edit 2: it is now, when i have the phone set to P series, but no error message so it can't be your problem? but no harm in trying

also have you tried re-installing the theme creator, and seeing if that fixes it?

i have re-installed many a time. i am on the right fone model (K700) and as before i get that error message. I'm trying to solve the problem and when i do i'll post here with the soloution incase anyone else has the same problem.

By the looks of that error it's no the theme creator, but it's your PC having trouble with .xml files

no, because i have had no previous problems with xml files. the theme creator 3g worked fine. but unfortunatley u can't do k700 themes on that.

I really think that the software might have a conflict with windows xp?

The only way for me to make themes proper is to get v1.3.
