Was looking at my desktop the other day, and though I'd try and do a theme of Dark Angel. I'm fairly happy with it, but I think I still need to do a lot of browsing through some of the other themes on this site to get some ideas of what looks good. I'm not too sure about the menus.

Anyways, thought I'd put a piccy up here and see if anyone can give some useful feedback.

I honestly dont have anything to complain about - I think it works very well.
Perhaps one tiny thing - the highlight where it says Hi Sailor - should have been a few pixels wider to the left - to cover the text completely. But thats all.

Spawn, I noticed the lower part of the double highlight, but it was getting late. so I thought I'd just put the preview up.

The colours look a big darker on this machine, as opposed to my home machine, so I'm not sure how it'd come out on the phone. Unfortunately I have to wait until I've actually got a phone to test it!!!!

nice, clean, and functional work JB! i like the idea of the two toned double highlight, but as spawn pointed out, the lower half is a lil short. otherwise i have nothing but praise

wow, i haven't seen dark angle for time, the last time i saw it was on channel 5 1-a few years ago

anyway good theme, and good idea, make a doubble highlight in the doubble highlight

ha ha , "<i have nothing else to say>" , i hated it at estao when no-one gave me any comments, it's one majour reason why i cut my themeing and i don't want that to happen here and i'm too dumb to think of anything else to say so i just say it

so now i can't say someone has a good theme, is this community is going down? , i'm really anoyed about that, i'm not to good at english and you have a go at me for it, that's just discrimination, just because i'm not that good at english and don't know the thesaurus like the back of my hand

O.K. Thought I might as well follow the trend a make a single thread for my themes, rather than adding a new one all the time. To kick off, I'll bring together the other 2 themes I've already made.

O.K. Finally got round to working on the Approdite IX theme. It's changed a bit from how it started - can be quite tricky to hand the whole thing together and still make it look interesting.

Anyway, here's the preview, but I've got to wait for my new phone before I can see how it looks for real (just a PAC transfer problem, rather than a phone problem).

Like the colours a lot!,..green and blue mix,...tabselected with squares look really good,... Should work really well on phone

Must apologise. I was going to change the previous posts, so that there wasn't a huge image in the thread, but it would seem that I can no longer edit my previous posts

it's so great when nokia users get envious i tease my mate all the time, he's got a 6230..

the battery does get better later, mine lasts a few days now, even when i'm using it all day for radio, mp3s, games and calls.

the rubber connector is seriously annoying, i hve to get a small flat head scree driver to open it, my finger nails don't cut it gonna try to remove it permanently...

I thought "Demons" had looong nails ?

Nahh true Adonis,..the rubber-thing is a bit annoying,..also when trying to connect the little bluetooth car for charging, hehe...

O.K. So the party's out of the way and I've finally got some evenings to myself at long last, which means I can put some effort to completing some themes.

Here's a preview of one based on a wallpaper donated by Tokyoboy. Any opinions? Was wondering whether to do some other colour variations, based on the colours of the glass balls.

a blue version and black and metallic versions would be good
tips from me:
-single highlights might need some more definition around the edges.
-popup highlights would look better with border

Thanks for the tip adonis. I must admit, I wasn't too happy with the single highlight myself.

Just got to tweak the theme slightly (bottom border of popup highlight is being chopped off), and then I'll work on a black version and a metallic version.
