Welcome to my Theme Post.




Just to tell you whenever I get time (mostly on weekends) I love to create Themes. It is addictive

This was my first theme "Krishna". It took me more than a week to create it.






I have also created color changing screensavers and flute ringtone for it.

My 5th Theme....The credit for this theme is to "HOCKEY".






I found myself quite complelled to add Stars and Suns and modify color to Blue with littlebit of other tweaks

My beloved and 6th Theme "Roads" or "Roads and Season".

havn't you another thread? anyways looks good, but in some themes it's nearly impossible to read the text... add a softkey in those and it will be just fine

Yes I do...but I would like to stick on this one. The other one I created in hurry.

When can I download it? I can see u named it as "Water"...well yeah bubbles are there

I love the Orange theme of yours, In addition, your 1st theme in 2007 also looks great, especially the music player screen.

What is with kolors...I think the screen saver needs to be modified...can u do some rippling effect to it or wave.

Sorry for the late reply.

Nokia theme contest was terminated due to lack of themers.

However, if there are others who wanted to join and have some fun occasionally, I don't mind hosting a contest. Maybe not restricted to only S40?

great theme aimist can see you put a lot of work in to it good to see as must s40 themer don't bother and miss out half of the screens that can be customised keep up the good work and some day we will catch up with sony themer if more people make themes like this

I feel S 40 can be exploited more, but u know when it comes to preview. I don't why the Theme Studio doesn't give nice and uniform pictures. U know many SE themers have great preview but not that great themes. We have great themes but our preview sucks at times.

Surely if we get more participation from nokia, we may have better chance to win against SE themes.

Do you have any tips for generating previews?

Also I have lost my 4 cp on last update that this Thursday. I was at 64 and now I am at 61. Can something be done.

you 100% right geting a good preview from nokia theme studio is a pain as for tips cant really cant help your preview look as good as mine i think what makes it hard is if we were to post all screens we can preview it looks cluttered and your right the theme looks 20 times better on the phone than the preview

as for your cp it to some time goes down my cp drops some time 2 nothing can be done about this

great royo theme the only thing I don't like about that is the snow flake icons... and monsters inc looks good, but I thnk you could have done something more with the softs... keep it up

Highlights belong to Elton, if you want to use parts of another theme, ask permission from the author first.

more like it all belonged to me...i OK'd him tooo use it and edit my original theme....any hilights and icons so on i have made/edited in photoshop....alot of my themes are edited or thorn down for parts/icons used in many other builder themes around the forum and other forumsi have close too 180 themes floating around the net ...hahaa...but i am guilty of useing a few progress bars for my themes from other creators ;-)

accually i haven't been asked permission from anyone that have used my themes or parts/icons and such in their themes.....but i know its a endless challenge and would rather see new creative creations appear than chase everyone for use of hole or inpart of my themes......but with Aimist i made an exception and agreed that he can change my original theme...even though it was done before my acknowledgment i was pleasantly surprised at the change ...

@adonisdemon : Hi, I was new to M9 and was not aware of this permission thing. Altough when Hockey first approached me about this alteration I apologized to him...but then he said it was alrite.

At that time for a new themer like me Hockey did a great thing allowing his theme to be used. But that I did once, now I create my own soft bars and buttons. But for icons I have to use the one floating around in M9...but that most of people do.

Dude...I still have to complete that theme. I am very confused about the type of icons and highlights that I will use.

Moreover I am very busy till this weekend...even on weekend. I think I would be able to do it on sunday.
I have a client visit this week in office and its really hectic.

Also I am not sure abt tmc this week

all icons in my themes are what i have found and edited outside of any nokia themes....create them from raw ico to png and if i am really into them i might animate them in some lazy way to bring them more style......oooh the themeing world...its a good part of the day checking out everyones work...keep it up all

Very nice work on Royo and Bjork themes, Aimist... I can see a great improvement...
You just have to pay more attention to the functionality... menu backgrounds need some manipulation in order to make that white text in Royo one visible in all areas... and in Bjork theme black menu text would probably do better than red... at least IMO...

Thanks Jas...I changed it (It looks good now) however I already have uploaded the file. Can you suggest something for the Royo theme...like what can be done. Even I have same concerns for it, but I am afraid manipulating the image might mess Royo theme.
