A new WPC week will begin EVERY MONDAY(GMT 00:01). The voting period for the previous for the period will start on the same day.
>>the voting will continue for a 48 hour period.

Resolutions:
Mobile walls: Various, you can do the wall in any resolution, but you must state which mobile it's for (and not just claim you've heard of a device with mega pixel screen
)PSP walls: 480 x 272
PC walls: 800 x 600 and above (do not make unnecessarily big walls like 32000 x 24000
)Rules of participation:
- Wallpapers must be made from scratch, meaning you must do all the elements of the picture yourself, unless special terms are given
- You may only submit one wallpaper each week
- Final entry must be posted in final entry thread before closing time, else your entry won't count
- You may not edit your post in the final entry thread (within 5 minutes is okay, in case of [img] crash)
- Submitted wallpapers must be within the topic
- Entry must follow m9's rules (no nudity etc)
- Do not post comments in the final entry thread
Save your layered images (.psd .pspimage etc), they will be used as proof, in case someone is suspected of cheating
Voting Limitations
only members who are WPC participants for a particular week, or have a minimum of 1000 posts, will be allowed to vote for that week. further, if a participant has less than 30 posts, he/she cannot vote. however, his/her entry will still be valid.
This means that members who are
1.a. not a WPC participant for a particular week AND
1.b. have less than 1000 posts
OR
2. a WPC participant but has less than 30 posts
will not be allowed to vote.
a member who
1.a. is a WPC participant AND
1.b. has more than 30 posts
OR
2. has more than 1000 posts (is/isn't a WPC participant)
can vote.
failure of a participant with 30+ posts to vote will result in disqualification from that week.
Process of voting:
Vote for the mentioned number of people only- no more, no less. It's okay to mention close calls and write comments on the walls, that does not however, change the outcome at all.
Do not vote for two people at the same position, pick one of them instead.
you cannot vote for yourself

This will be mentioned in the voting thread for that particular vote
Tie Breaker
In case of a tie in one of the trophy positions, the following procedure will be followed:
In case two or more participants end up with the same points, the higher order trophy will go to the member who has more votes for 1st position.
In case two or more members have the same votes for first position, votes for second position will be considered.
This will proceed all the way down to votes for 7th position(or whichever is the last), until we have a winner.
UPLOADING .PSD, .PSP, etc.
You have to upload your layered file in order for your entry to count. Please note that to protect your work, write your name/signature on one of the important layers of the image before uploading it, in a manner such that others cannot remove it. This is for your safety.
UPLOADING WALLPAPER TO GALLERY
every week before posting your entry in the Final Entry thread, you have to upload it to the gallery and provide it's link along with the final entry. while uploading your entry, you have to name it in the following manner:
<name> WPC Week ***
the 3 asterisks (*) represent the week number of the competition. the <name> represents any name of your choice you would like to give the wall paper. for example, if you are uploading the entry for week 100, you will write:
