Hi,
I am new to the theme making world and would really like a Dundee United FC theme for my K800i.
I can provide numerous jpegs, if required..I also have an excellent Gif which I would LOVE to have as the main screen if poss! (see below)
Anyone able to either help by making one up for me or point me in the right direction?

Thanks

Have added a couple of jpegs for use if anyone can help! Main colours are Tangerine and Black, a ring tone of John Paul Young - "Love is in the Air" would also be awesome!

Why not have a go?

Download the Sony Ericsson Themes Creator.

Once you get the hang of it, it's not that hard. Start off by editing an existing theme by importing your favourite images. Then you can progress to making one from scratch.

Keep the background images simple - not too many complicated colours. Remember, you need to be able to read the menus!

Have been trying PD,

But I seem to be struggling with what are probably very basic issues.
The gif I attached above appears too small when I try transferring it and I cannot get it to centre either! (It just sits at the left hand side of the screen!).
I'll keep trying and post my progress!

Thanks

K800 resolution = 240*320 pixels, you've attached gifs of 180*160 pixels.

Yeah, I'd noticed that!

Any advice how I can either re-size jpegs or gifs or should I be getting pics in the right resolution as a starting point?

It would seem that you need experience in imaging software, so I would advise you to start by using Windows Paint.

Highlight the image then click and drag the bottom right corner to re-size it to 240x320. If the image proportions are roughly 3x4 to start with, then you should get a decent result.

You will need to get to grips with making and editing images. I usually use a combination of Paint and Paint Shop Pro.

Thanks PD,

I'll give that a go and see how I get on!

If you're not already using it, try Themes Creator 3.06, which you can get here.

(Enter Themes Creator into the search box and download the Windows zip file.)

As for Paul Young's Love is in the Air ... rockon.gif laugh.gif

No doubt, that's The Terrors' theme tune, eh? Hmmm.. beats Z Cars I suppose. byebye.gif
